Description: We will examine the theological, practical, and experiential aspects of pilgrimage in Western Europe and the Holy Land and the symbols, images, and places encounered along the routes. For an additional credit hour, students may spend the last two weeks fo May walking a pilgrimage trail in France. Cross-list: FREN 437. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for HART 437 if student has credit for HART 537.
