Description: Covers some of the most important disorders of nervous system function. Exposes students to incidence, clinical manifestations, pathophysiology, current scientific models of causes/mechanisms of disorders of the adult brain: stroke, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, seizure disorders, brian tumors, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, brain/spinal cord injury, addiction, depression, and schizophrenia.
