Description: This course will introduce the major religious traditions of China and Tibet, including Confucianism, Daoism, popular Chinese religion and Han and Tibetan forms of Buddhism. We will examine these traditions from historical and philosophical perspectives as well as through scripture and popular literature, recognizing transnational exchanges and influence.
