Description: The course explores the contribution of the Sephardic (Spanish) Jews to the Hispanic cultural heritage in Spain and in the Ottoman Empire. An interdisciplinary approach combines social history, literature and linguistics from Jewish and Spanish sources and critical perspectives. The course will be conducted in English, with an optional Spanish track.
