Description: SSURE fosters research partnerships between Rice social sciences majors and faculty, to enhance future employment and educational opportunities for students. The program offers research budget to conduct independent scholarly projects on topics of their choosing with the advice and mentoring of a faculty. Only students with selected research proposals qualify for enrollment. Student presents paper on campus, and possibly nationally.
