Description: Mechanics of ventilation, respiratory muscle mechanics, rib cage mechanics, mechanical coupling between the respiratory muscles and the rib cage, and inferences on mechanics from respiratory muscle anatomy. The class will meet in the Pulmonary Division at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center.
