Description: An introduction to American Religious History exploring what it has meant to be religious and to evaluate the religion of others in North America. Topics include Native American "conversion", the Puritan Antinomian Controversy, Mormonism, the experiences of Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist, and Hindu immigrants, African-American religions and the charismatic movement.
