Description: Designed for undergraduate mechanical engineering students. Lectures in areas of current interest in mechanical engineering. Topics vary from term to term. Fall 08 topic: Special Problems in Mechanical Engineering for Cooperative Education Students. An approved project resulting in career-related work experience under the direction of a department faculty member. Open only to mechanical engineering majors with a minimum ocumulative GPA of 3.0 with at least 45 semester hours completed (transfer students must meet these criteria plus an addtional semester of course work (12 semester hours) at Rice. Repeatable for Credit.
