Description: Preparatory course for the INNOVATE confernece for undergraduate and graduate engineering, science and technical students that exmanies the relationship between technology, globalization, and leadership in the contemporary marketplace. Student delegates spend five days each in two locations in Asia participating in meetings with key business, academic, and government leaders and will also conduct site visits to a range of engineering, scientific, and technical companies abroad. The course provides students with an introduction to the history, government, and politics of the host countries and enable us to examine in greater detail impact of globalization in Asia on engineering, science, and technical fields.
