Description: Study of medieval art, with emphasis in part one on the art and architecture produced in Europe during the Dark Ages (e.g. the work of the Visigoths, Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Merovingians, Carolingians, and Ottonians); and in part 2 on the major revival of art and architecture in the medieval monasteries of the Romanesque period.
