Description: The first part of the course will examine the conceptual art practices that began in the 1960s, including Bochner, Kosuth, art and language, LeWitt, Hacke, Kelly, and Smithson. The second part of the course will focus on the question of what constitutes a conceptual architecture by interrogating a series of potential practices including: Super Studio, Anchiram, Eisenman, Libesking, Shinohara, Hejduf, Tschumi, and others.
