Description: Consideration of the research on psychological factors and health with special consideration to the role of health beliefs in people's practice and nonpractice of health, illness, and sick-role behaviors. Recommended Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101, PSYC 202, four additional psychology courses or permission of instructor.
