Description: What-if anything-is right, good, and just about our intentions and actions? The course surveys urgent questions raised in Jewish philosophy concerning law, morality, and politics. Topics include freedom and frailty, gender and government, emotions and reasons, suffering and hope. Readings in translation ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary writings. Credit may not be received for both RELI 210 and RELI 330.
