Description: To be considered for the course, you must submit a 250 word or less statement explaining your interests in the course and reasons for taking the course. Email Dr. Rebecca Richards-Kortum the Monday of the week of pre-registration. Epidemiology, pathophysiology, health systems and health economics, demography, medical ethics, humanitarian emergencies, role of media, justice, history of colonialsim, scientific methods and engineering design, case studies of appropriate health technologies, role of WHO.
