Description: This course addresses contemporary issues in ecology and evolution through the lens of insect diversity. Laboratory and field exercises provide hands-on experience with collection and curation of insect specimens. Readings span a broad literature (popular to technical). Writing and oral reports develop proficiency in scientific communication. 1 credit lab is required (BIOS 330). Biosciences Group B.
