Description: This course will study the poets commonly associated with British Romanticism - Blake, Shelley, Coleridge, Wordsworth, Byron, and Keats - while also contextualizing these poets in relation to the sentimental, gothic, and equally impassioned writings of the writers collected in the anthology British Women Poets of the Romantic Era.
