Description: Explores a wide range of Caribbean cultural products, including literature, cinema, music, visual arts, and historiogrpahy. Focuses on the hybrid and diasporic nature of Caribbean culture, tracing its roots in Europe, Africa and the indigenous past, as well as its recent migration to the United States. Recommended: Prerequisite(s)-Third-year Spanish or permission of the instructor.
