Description: The French Revolution marked a turning point for Christianity in Europe. In the wake of violent attacks on religion, religious establishments were called into question and new, popular forms of religion appeared. Course will examine religious changed in modern Europe, missionary movements, anti-Semitism and the growth of non-Christian groups.
