Description: Interdisciplinary seminar examines processes and meanings of EU expansion and postsocialism. Addresses the politics of knowledge surrounding cultural and historical formations of policy and integration in contemporary Europe, and narratives such as modernity, sovereignty, security and nationalism, in light of ongoing reconfiguration of European political and cultural spaces.
