Description: This course is designed for students with little or no knowledge of Italian. We will concentrate on all language skills and provide basic elements of Italian civilization. Class work will be supplemented by regular attendance of language laboratory. We'll discover Italy in all its aspects: culture, art, music, cinema, fashion, food. Credit may not be received for both ITAL 222 and ITAL 101. Recommended prerequisite(s): No prior knowledge of Italian.
