Description: FROM SEQUENCE TO STRUCTURE: AN INTRODUCTION TO COMPUATIONAL BIOLOGY ***** This course is a modern introduction to problems in computational biology spanning sequence to structure. The course has three modules: the first introduces statiscal techniques in sequence analysis; the second covers statistical machine learning techniques for understanding experimental data generated in computational biology; and the third introduces problems in the structure of complex biomolecules. ***** Also offered as STAT 470 and COMP 470.
