Description: LITERARY LOVE AFFAIRS, LOVE AND PASSION IN EUROPEAN LITERATURE (FRESHMAN SEMINAR) ***** According to the German philosopher Hegel, love-stories are usually about a young man who seeks the ideal girl, finally gets her, and becomes as good a Philistine as others.
