Description: ENZYME MECHANISMS
Enzymology is a biological extension of organic chemistry. This course will survey examples of enzyme-catalyzed reactions with emphasis on mechanisms. Enzymes that use catalytic cofactors (vitamins) will be covered, as will those that rely on amino acid side chains.
