Description: MEDIEVAL WOMEN WRITERS ***** This course examines significant medieval European women authors from the 10th - 17th centuries, from Italy and Germany to France, England, Austria, and Spain. Using various techniques and media to access works, we will combine close reading with a focus on intersexuality. ***** Also offered as ENGL 311 and WGST 300. ***** Instructor(s): Chance Cross-list: ENGL 517.
