Description: MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY ***** This course introduces the student interested in medical and health professions to a large vocabulary of medical language which develops skills in understanding and remembering new words. It describes word origins, basic terms in anatomy and terms pertaining to each body system as well as pharmacology and medical equipment, and many frequently used medical terms, abbreviations and symbols.
