Description: SOCIAL SCIENTIFIC THINKING I ***** This course introduces students to the practice of social science research including empirical description, theoretical development, and hypothesis generation and testing. It includes projects on the design and implementaiton of surveys, controlled experiments, archival data collection, fieldwork, case studies, and qualitive analysis. ***** Enrollment limited to 13.
