Description: JEWS AND CHRISTIANS IN MEDIEVAL EUROPE ***** Course will study relationships between Jewish and Christian communities within the context of Christian Europe. Topics will include settlement and demography; economics; legal status; hostility against Jews; family and the position of women; communal organizations; social diversity; and intellectual and spiritual achievements.
