Description: FUNDAMENTALS OF CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING ***** This introduction will cover the essential topics and quantative techniques for students interested in the major (either B.S. or B.A.). Fluid flow, solid mechanics, and mass balance techniques will be presented followed by applications to sustainable urban infrastructure, water quality and water treatment, bridge construction, transportation, air and water quality, and urban planning and management principles.
