Description: BIOTECHNOLOGY AND CULTURE ***** This course focuses on anthropology of the life sciences. We will examine how this work takes contemporary bioscience as a site for cultural analysis, and also the allied proposals that this represents an opportunity to renovate classic anthropological analyses and categories of kinship, reproduction, the body, life, death and identity. ***** Instructor(s): Landecker.
