Description: In this course students will develop their skills in cultural analysis using a broad range of courses such as literature, film, and other audio-visual materials. Readings as well as in-class discussions will provide the historical and cultural context necessary to critical analysis. Students will be able to advance their conversation and writing skills in Portuguese. Previously offered as SPPO 303. Mutually exclusive. Credit cannot be earned for PORT 303 if student has previously taken SPPO 303. Recommended Prerequisite(s): PORT 264 or Permission of Instructor.
