Description: Are you going through a quarter-life crisis? In the middle of academic pressure, career uncertainty, and major life decisions, when was the last time you had dedicated space to reflect on who you actually are? Do we even have time for that? This course is for anyone who wants dedicated time to enhance their self-understanding in a structured, scientific way through the lens of personality psychology. Using psychological assessments as a primary tool for self-learning, students will complete various psychological assessments, reflect on their results, and apply new insights for both personal growth and professional decision-making. Beyond taking tests, students will also critically evaluate popular assessments by learning how to interpret them responsibly and recognize their limitations. In addition to these assessments, we will also explore complementary ways of self-understanding, such as journaling, interpersonal feedback, and intentional new experiences. The course will conclude with a hands-on project where students will design and administer their own psychological assessment on a topic of their choice.
