Description: This course prepares engineering students to communicate complex concepts and data to different audiences. The instruction focuses on strategy, delivery, slide design, and audience interaction. Students will learn to give effective informative presentations, data presentations, demonstrations, progress reports, proposal presentations, and impromptu presentations. Graduate students in the course will complete additional assignments including a 2-minute lightning talk, a 5-minute podcast, and a 15-minute technical talk. Cross-list: ENGI 400. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ENGI 500 if student has credit for ENGI 400.
