Description: Engineering Research in Practice gives undergraduate students hands-on experience with engineering research through a semester-long team project. Students work from a published study to reproduce meaningful results, test and troubleshoot the method, evaluate uncertainty and limitations, develop a new research question, and extend the work. Weekly instruction supports literature review, research methods, documentation, ethics, teamwork, and technical communication.
