Description: This course provides broad coverage of the financial aspects of real estate investment. Students learn how to construct a proforma for income-producing properties and apply the discounted cash flow model to value these properties. Mortgage debt and taxes are also covered. The second half of the course provides a high-level overview of real estate market analysis, real estate development, and consumer housing choice.
