Description: In this course students analysis events and ideas that have shaped the philosophy and practice of American schools today. It is appropriate for all students interested in the influences and stresses that have created a unique educational system in our culturally diverse country. This course requires five hours of observation in a local secondary school. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EDUC 301 if student has credit for EDUC 501.
