Description: Set against the backdrop of developments such as the “Cold War” and various struggles for justice and equality, this course explores ways in which certain Christians have worked to reimagine the United States along theological lines and in light of an intimate and a required connection between Christian belief and national identity. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for RELI 317 if student has credit for RELI 541.
