Description: This course provides an in-depth study of membrane science and technology, covering principles, transport theories, materials, and applications of membrane-based separation processes. Topics include major classes of membrane technologies, solvent and solute transport mechanisms, and applications in chemical separations, water treatment, desalination, and energy systems. Students will also explore recent advances and emerging directions in membrane research.
