Description: Through this course students will question and test the boundaries that define the medium of photography through a broad range of experimental image making techniques beginning with 19th century photographic processes into contemporary practice. Experimentation will take shape in the darkroom through a diverse set of techniques and materials that break with photographic conventions, including cameraless photography and the manipulation and transfer of found and archival images.
