Description: This experiential course provides a select group of students the opportunity to spend a semester reinvestigating likely wrongful conviction cases of people in prison with the ultimate goal of creating a public documentary, website, and social media campaign for their program participant. Depending on the case they work on, students will travel to meet and interview their program participant, family members and friends to learn more about their cases and develop their advocacy strategies. Recommended Prerequisite(s): Intro to Sociology
