Description: This class will examine the relationship between international migration and health. It will also examine the implications of this relationship for understanding issues such as changes in disease environments, epidemics, medical migration, and refugee populations. Additionally, the class will discuss the dynamics of access to healthcare during the migration process. Cross-list: SOCI 453. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for SOCI 553 if student has credit for SOCI 453.
