Description: As the development and deployment of artificial intelligence accelerates, we face a slew of ethical issues and challenges. In this course, we discuss a selection of such challenges and consider a range of approaches to them. Topics covered will include the impact of AI on fairness, privacy, democracy, labor, and autonomy. The goal will be to help students identify current issues and to anticipate new inflection points in the development, deployment and use of AI.
