Description: Study of the structure and properties of graphs, together with a variety of applications. Includes paths, cycles, trees, connectivity, matchings, colorings, planarity, directed graphs, and algorithms. Some knowledge of linear algebra is recommended. This course covers the same lecture material as CMOR 404, but fosters greater theoretical sophistication through more challenging problem sets and exams on the graduate side. Cross-list: CMOR 404.
