Description: This course will expose students to current trends in ICC (Intercultural Communicative Competence), in the context of learning a new language. Topics can include but are not limited to critical analysis of language use, intercultural differences, and issues related to identities such as class, gender, race, and others from a global perspective. As such, students going abroad could particularly benefit from this course. The class may be taught in English or the target language.
