Description: QUEBEC, P.Q., CANADA ***** A group project, the class will attempt to define Quebec's unique status through student-selected topics such as immigration, plurilingualism, national sovereignty, cultural production, and the like. The course will cover literature and visual texts (fine arts, cinema) as well as historical and political ones, while simultaneously fostering the oral and written practice of French. ***** Prerequisite(s): FREN 202 or placement exam or AP credit or permission of instructor.
