Description: This course will give students hands-on experiences in the practice of conservation biology through authentic projects related to prioritization and design of nature preserves, restoration of natural environments, and for monitoring threatened and endangered species in the Houston area. BIOS 423 may be taken concurrently with EBIO 322. Cross-list: BIOS 522. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOS 322 if student has credit for BIOS 522.
