Description: The final in an integrated sequence of three courses (BIOS 201, 301, 302). In depth study of carbohydrate, amino acid, and lipid metabolic pathways, hormone regulation of metabolic path ways, key cell signaling mechanisms, and the structural biology of DNA replication, transcription, and translation into proteins. Course also involves analysis of primary scientific literature.
