Description: More than one and a half centuries after its publication, Dumas' internationally acclaimed novel finds multiple reincarnations in contemporary French society. The novel will serve as a guide on a tour into French history and culture - past and present. The course will include texts, music, films, and writing workshops. Prerequisites: FREN 202 or placement exam or AP credit or permission of instructor.
