Description: Topics include principles of data reduction, point estimation, hypothesis testing, interval estimation, Bayesian inference, Decision Theory, inference foundations of analysis of variance and regression. STAT 519 will have more advanced assignments and examinations focusing on theoretical methods. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for STAT 519 if student has credit for STAT 419.
