Description: MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATION ***** This course is a study in the creation and maintenance look of competitive advantage through both incremental and radical innovation. We learn to formulate innovation strategies consistent with a firm's business strategies. We study processes, management systems, and organizational structures that promote and support innovation. The scope of the course ranges from new product development to business model innovation. We also seek to understand the key drivers of innovation and sources for new ideas. The focus is primarily on large firms. The perspective is that of general management. Readings and case studies are used.
