Description: This course will introduce students to the concepts of sequence stratigraphy and the power behind this correlation technique. The course is divided between classic sequence stratigraphy using cores, well-logs, and outcrop examples and seismic sequence stratigraphy. Cross-list: ESCI 627. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ESCI 427 if student has credit for ESCI 627.
